As a consequence of prolonged rainfall several landslides and debris flows occured in Vorarlberg (Austria) in the course of the night from 01/06 to 02/06/2013. More information (in German): http://vorarlberg.orf.at/tv/stories/2586886/

With the help of an Image-Matching-Software a point cloud was generated on the basis of 69 pictures for two shallow landslides. The video below shows the movement of a shallow landslide along a very wet sliding surface. Processes of this type will be simulated with the help of physically-based modells.
